Signed into law December 10, 2010, the 2011 Economic Stimulus Bill was designed to provide significant tax credits for energy-efficient home improvements made during the year of 2011. Under this bill and in compliance with Energy Star, HH Insulation Systems is a qualified company specializing in energy-efficient home improvement serving all of Southeastern Wisconsin.

Existing homeowners who install insulation as a home-improvement and/or energy-efficiency technique during 2011 may receive an energy tax credit for 10% of the total cost, up to $500. To qualify for the Energy Efficiency Tax Credit, manufacturer's certification is required and the insulation must be expected to last for at least 5 years or carry a 2-year warranty. This offer will expire on December 30, 2011 so be sure to get your home improvements done early!

Consumers should keep any receipts as well as the Insulation Manufacturer's Certification Statements for tax purposes (IRS Form 5695). To qualify, the insulation must be installed during the taxable year of 2011. You may also visit Energy Star's website for more information concerning how to apply for federal tax credits.
